Begin your journey in Quito, Ecuador’s historic capital, where colonial architecture, vibrant markets, and sweeping views from the Middle of the World set the tone. Travel south into the Andean highlands to Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the world’s highest active volcanoes, with dramatic páramo landscapes and opportunities for light hiking and wildlife spotting. Continue to the emerald crater lake of Quilotoa, where sheer volcanic walls frame one of the most striking vistas in the Andes.

The route then descends to Baños, a lively town known for its waterfalls, thermal baths, and adventure activities set against lush cloud forest.
